The overall objective of the Turkey-EU Business Dialogue project implemented bt the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey  (TOBB) is to strengthen mutual knowledge and understanding between Turkish Chambers and their counterparts in the EU. Thus, promoting the integration of EU and Turkish business communities and ensuring a stronger awareness of the opportunities and challenges of a potential future Turkey’s accession to the EU in both Turkey and the EU. The TEBD project will allow the Turkish and European Chambers, as members of civil society, to improve their cooperation, enhancing the capacity of Turkish Chambers and their role in the EU accession process and the on-going reform of the Customs Union between Turkey and the EU.

Within this framework,  Istanbul Chamber of Industry submitted a project in partnership with Union Camere Lombardia (UCL)to the relevant Project Call and CFCU accepted our application. Thus the implementation of the project “Transfer of Best Practices through Structural Dialoge for Capacity Development in the Fields of Digitalisation and Industry-University Collaboration and Internationalisation” has begun in April 2019.

The kick-off meeting of the Project aiming to inform the Chamber’s members about the Project activities and the scope was held on 30 May 2019 with the participation of Istanbul Chamber of Industry “University-Industry Collaboration” and “R&D and Design” Assembly Working Group members.
